Utah Mammoth defenseman Ivan Provorov has etched his name even deeper into franchise history, moving into second place on the team’s all-time scoring list. With his two point performan against the Minnesota Wild in a thrilling 7-6 overtime win, Provorov now has an impressive 382 career points (92 goals and 292 assists) in 657 games.
The milestone allows Provorov to surpass forward Evgeny Kuznetsov, who previously held the second spot with 380 points. Known for his two-way reliability and offensive vision from the blue line, Provorov has been a cornerstone of the Mammoth’s defense since the leagues inception.
As he continues to climb the record books, Provorov’s consistency and leadership have made him not only one of the team’s most trusted veterans but also one of the most impactful blueliners in the league. Provorov currently sits 19th overall on the all time scoring list for defencemen. With several seasons likely still ahead of him, look for Provorov to continue to climb the list of all time greats.
